Using HTML Color Codes

As website designer, you have 216 safe HTML color codes to choose from. These safe colors are based on 16 bit color monitors known as hexadecimal triplets representing the colors red, green and blue. These 216 colors are considered safe HTML color code because they are guaranteed to display correctly in all browsers. When you're adding a color to your web page using HTML, you can type the color or use the 6-character HTML color code. Following is the list of colors available in HTML:

If you are going to use HTML color code in a webpage, the color code must start with the symbol "#" and 6-character HTML color code consisting of the numbers 0,3,6,9, and letters C and F.

The HTML color codes is called a TRIPLET because it is based on group of Thee Hex numbers between hex 00 and hex FF (decimal 255). The format of the TRIPLET looks as follows:

The Red (RR), green (GG) and blue (BB) tell the browser how red, green and red to use. So the code for pure red is #FF0000, Green is #00FF00 and Blue #0000FF. Following is the list of HTML safe color codes:
