NR Computer Learning Center Introduces Two New Online Courses: Introduction to Microsoft Outlook 2013 and Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2013

Thursday, October 10, 2013 – NR Computer Learning Center has a program that makes it easy to take high-quality, noncredit online courses. NR Computer Learning Center is pleased to announce the launch of two new courses: “Introduction to Microsoft Outlook 2013″ and “Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2013.”

Participants in the first course will get up to speed with the latest developments in Outlook, including how to manage email, the calendar, and contacts and how to get the most out of program tools such as Search Folders and Quick Steps. It is perfect for those new to Outlook as well as those who have used this program for years.

In the second course, participants will become proficient in using Microsoft Excel 2013 and discover countless shortcuts, tricks, and features for creating and formatting worksheets quickly and efficiently. This informative course covers the new Quick Analysis, Flash Fill, and charting capabilities available in Excel 2013.

These courses are part of NR Computer Learning Center’s growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. And, students can access the classroom 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). The courses are entirely web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes, and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions.
