Programming Arduino with Scratch

In the Programming Arduino with Scratch class, students learn to develop program in Scratch – block programming language – to write code for Arduino, a popular microcontroller, used to control a robot. The student will learn about the circuit board, connecting the circuit board to Arduino – the microcontroller and to write software to control lights, motors, and sensors. This is an excellent introductory course to a programming language for students interested in developing a program to control the motion of a robot. This course is recommended for kids between 9 and 14. The student must know Scratch programming prior to joining the program.

Pre-requisite: Introduction to Scratch
