Tech Club

The Tech Clubs (Jr. Tech Club, Jr. Robotics club, Sr. Tech Club, and Microsoft Tech Club) are designed for kids and teens (Ages: 8+) who love technology, interested in building a career in a STEM-related field, want to compete or want to learn technology for fun!! Students can choose to work individually or as a team. Some of the activities include writing programs to control robots, develop games and mobile apps, work with 3D Printers, design Websites, develop an online portfolio, and edit movies. The tech club meets once a week for 2 hours 4 times a month in a small group (1 teacher to 10 students ratio) setting. The small group setting provides students the opportunity to be more interactive and learn from each other through hands-on activities.

Jr. Tech Club

Jr. Tech Club (Age: 8-12)

The club focuses on block programming to help young students learn to program while developing simple games. The purpose of the club is to help the student learn the basics of a programming language in a fun-filled environment.

Jr. Robotics Club

Jr. Robotics Club (Age: 8 – 12)

The club focuses on developing programs to control a robot. Students will learn to program simple robotic actions using programmable NXT motor and robotic sensors: ultrasonic, sound, light, and touch. The purpose of the club is to help students learn to program to control robots. This will also prepare students wanting to join the First Lego League Club.

Sr. Tech Club

Sr. Tech Club (Middle and High school Students)

The club focuses on various programming language and hardware devices. The purpose of the club is to help students develop software and firmware development skills.

Microsoft Tech Club

Microsoft Tech Club (High School and College students)

The Microsoft Tech club focuses on Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification Exam. The purpose of the club is to motivate the student and help them prepare them for MTA Exam.
