Students will learn the basic features and functions of Microsoft Office 2016.
Microsoft Word: format documents and create memos and flyers.
Microsoft Excel: create, edit, and format spreadsheets such as budgets and inventory list.
Microsoft PowerPoint: create a presentation.

9 -12 PM – Fundamentals of Computer (Computer Basic) (4 Days) @ NR Computer Learning Center

This is an introductory course for students interested in building a computer, learning how computers work, and programming to develop games. They will gain the knowledge and skills required to identify types and components of computers; including the microprocessor, motherboard, flash drive, hard disk, memory, keyboard, mouse and input/output devices. They will also learn to build a computer from scratch, know how each part works, and how to use free software to eliminate viruses, work with images, sound and text.

This course is also a prerequisite to most of the other courses.

Recommended Age: 8 -12

Date: June 8th to June 11th, 2020

9 -4 PM – Game Programming with Python (4 days) @ NR Computer Learning Center
Jun 8 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Students will learn Python to write scripts to develop games with moving objects, draw shapes, and calculate scores. They will also get exposure to applying the knowledge to control Raspberry Pi. This is an excellent introductory course for students interested in learning a scripting language, developing games, and using Raspberry Pi.

Prerequisite Course: Computer Basic or equivalent.

Recommended Ages: 12 -18

Date: June 8th to June 11th, 2020
