Professor Hirday Nath Pandit, PhD

Professor Hirday Nath Pandit, Ph.D. (Economics of Education), is an internationally known expert in educational management and policy analysis. He has 35 years of teaching and research experience in the field of educational management and policy analysis. He has over 100 publications/working papers/documents and articles in the International Journals of Education. For several years, he was a Professor of Education and Head of Policy Planning and Evaluation at the National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT), New Delhi. He also worked at the Association of Indian Universities and Institute of Applied Manpower, New Delhi. He was the lead member of the Research Team on Manpower Forecasting of the Indian National Commission on Education [1964-66]. He has served as a United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)/UNDP educational expert/adviser, a Consultant for the Cambridge Education Consultants, and an adviser for the World Bank/UNDP educational projects for several developing countries. In 1973, Professor Hirday Nath Pandit received his Ph.D. in the Economics of Education from the Delhi University. In 1976, he received a Diploma in Educational Management from UNESCO -International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), Paris. He was also the recipient of the UNESCO Fellowship at IIEP Paris and the Visitor Fellowship of the British Council, London. He was the Indian delegate for the UNESCO Workshop on Self Management in Education at Belgrade. Since 1977, he has been working on several international assignments, including the following:

• 1977 – 1983: As a UNESCO Expert and Adviser to the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, he helped the university establish the Department of Educational Management for six years.

  • A Study in unit costs at the school stage in India
  • Implementation of constitutional directives on education: progress problems & future strategy
• 1984 – 1988: During those five years, he was a Professor of Educational Planning and Administration, Head, Department of Foundations of Education, and the Dean of Education at the University of Jos, Nigeria.
• 1988 – 1992: He worked as the Team Leader and Adviser for the Cambridge Education Consultants for four years for the UNESCO/UNDP Project on educational planning for the Republic of Ghana.
• 1993-1995: He also worked for three years as the Technical Adviser for the World Bank Project on the FUNCTIONAL LITERACY for Ghana.
• 1996 – 1997: He was responsible for developing the Management Information System (MIS) for the Education Sector of Dominica and St. Lucia.
• 2000 – Current: Adviser to NR Computer Learning Center (www.nrclc.com). As an adviser, he is helping NRCLC establish on-site, off-site, and online Information Technology courses.
• He has published several books/documents on Educational Management and Policy.

Dr. Vazi Okhandiar, PMP, MBA, MCT, MSCS, BSEE

Dr. Vazi Okhandiar is the founder of NRTechnology.com and NRCLC.com. These companies provide professional training and consulting services in the area of Project Management and Information Technology. She is currently the Executive Director at NR Computer Learning Center and Vice President mLogica.
Dr. Vazi has over 30 years of experience teaching, managing, architecture, designing, and implementing information technology projects for large clients such as the United Nations, Toyota, General Motors, Mitsubishi, and numerous small and medium-sized enterprises. Dr. Vazi has expertise in developing online and mobile applications and designing and implementing databases. She was one of the original designers of the software for converting paper-based maps into digital maps. These digital maps are being used worldwide by the Internet and mobile users. Dr. Vazi has been awarded “Excellence in Software Development” by Mitsubishi’s telecommunication division and Electronic Data Systems (EDS)/HP. Dr. Vazi has a Doctorate in Business Administration(DBA) from Walden University, Minnesota, an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, a Master’s in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. She is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Sriram (Sri) Ramadas, PMP, MCT, MCP, MCTS

Sriram (Sri) Ramadas has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology projects and products and has successfully played different roles, including project management, product management, implementation, new business development, marketing, and technical pre-sales. He is currently the senior VP of leading global trade compliance and supply chain security software provider. Sri is a certified PMP and holds Microsoft certifications, including MCT, MCP, and MCTS. Sri has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in Marketing. He lives in Irvine with his wife and two sons and enjoys listening to music and playing golf.

Neilabh P. Okhandiar has over ten years of experience in software development and engineering. He is the senior project manager for a leading consulting company focusing on technical modernization.
He holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago, Illinois.

Pavan Mehrotra, MSEE, BSEE

Pavan has over ten years of experience in software and hardware engineering. He holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
